Church Planting + Revitalization
Church Planting Tools and Resources
Below is a growing list of online resources designed to help church planters and sending churches desiring to Multiply. Although we may not theologically align with all of these organizations (primarily on issues of Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Egalitarianism), there are useful things we can learn from the developmental work they’ve done.
NewChurches -This website is put together by the North American Mission Board. There are some great courses available for free here, including trainings around developing a children’s ministry, being a bi-vocational pastor, and why church planting is so important. Ed Stetzer leads the “New Churches” podcast that covers a wide variety of topics surrounding church planting and does so through interviews with church planters.
ChurchPlanting.com -This website has great blog posts on a variety of church planting topics. Jeff Hoglen, church planter and pastors both in the US and internationally, works with others to put together these readable posts and resources.
Exponential -Exponential is a church planting and multiplication resourcing organization whose leadership is multi-denominational. Exponential puts on conferences, trainings and curates resources around these topics.
Passion for Planting -This localized church planting organization has some great free resources they’ve made available to everyone.
